I lead 100+ students through a 16-week-long journey exploring the world of AI and machine learning for Professor Reza Jafarkhani's TAC 459 - Applied Natural Language Processing and Generative AI class. I support deep dives into transformers, large language models, and inference with weekly office hours, constructive grading, and project guidance.
I spent the summer getting hands-on with large language models with the Data Science & Machine Learning team. I spearheaded a variety of operational research projects ranging from parallelizing batched GPT API calls to exploring the effects of many-shot in-context-learning techniques on radiology protocol assessment to reach the levels of trained professionals.
